I'd try to find the person who layed your bike over. Probably some Harley Davidson dude. How do you like having to deal with Suzuki? Since the bike was never intended to be layed down the mirrors will break; otherwise, a less than firm fit will cause the mirror to vibrate. You could move the mirrors to inner portion of the handle bars (try reversing the mirrors L to R) and bend the rod neck to give it a lower profile. This way the handle bars protect the mirrors. Just an idea.
